We are delighted to announce that Tourette’s Support NI & ROI will be hosting our conference at the Canal Court Hotel, Newry, on Saturday 19th September 2026.
We are incredibly excited to announce our guest speakers.
John Davidson MBE
John Davidson is a well known Tourette’s campaigner who has spent many years raising awareness and challenging the stigma and misunderstanding surrounding Tourette syndrome.
John’s remarkable life story inspired the feature film I Swear, which tells the story of his experiences growing up with Tourette’s at a time when there was very little understanding of the condition. John was awarded an MBE in recognition of his campaigning and work to improve understanding of Tourette syndrome.
Paul Stevenson
Paul Stevenson is an award winning lived experience advocate, international speaker and author. Diagnosed with Tourette syndrome at 46, Paul uses his personal experiences to challenge stigma, improve understanding and help create a more inclusive future for people with Tourette syndrome and other neurodivergent conditions.
But that’s not all…
We are also delighted to have some amazing members of our own Tourette’s community speaking on the day, sharing their personal experiences, challenges and journeys.
Giving our members a voice is incredibly important to us, and we are so proud to provide a platform where lived experience can be heard, understood and valued.
This promises to be a very special day, bringing together lived experience, awareness, education, support and inspiring speakers from across the Tourette’s community.
